Because AirBnB provides comprehensive insurance coverage, terms of agreement, and secure payment methods, we feel comfortable limiting the booking process to only that platform at this time.

Because the boathouse is winterized, we're happy to offer an extended rental season, beginning in late Spring and continuing past Canadian Thanksgiving.
We will begin booking for the 2023 season on April 17th, taking reservations up until November 20th.
We do not take advance reservations for the following year.
Generally, the maximum number of guests that we accept at a time is 4.
Exceptions can be made in the case of small children or extremely short-term stays, i.e., a single additional guest staying for just 1 night.
While the property is waterfront, it is also residential. We want to be considerate of our neighbours, many of whom are retired and/or elderly, by proactively limiting noise and foot traffic.
Also, because the boathouse plumbing is based on a well pump system, we want to avoid the mechanical strain that having more than 4 guests over several days could produce.
We appreciate the care and cooperation of our guests in keeping our spot along the river a quiet and peaceful one.
